Take a Walk

Assignment 4 told you to take several walks, 3 different times, with photos of anything that caught your attention. Pretty simple, until you realize you have to pick 10 out of the 400+ photos you took; or I took. Here's what caught my attention.

I spent a weekend in woodstock, enjoying the timeless hours, and the overcast, rainy weather. I also took a couple walks to the downtown of Rochester, which I've decided is the suburbs of Harlem. Got lost one too many times in the busy streets and empty alleyways of downtown, trying to find anything that looked odd and unusual. Once you've seen one city, you've seen them all, right?

Same Thing, Different Way

For each specific subject/idea, you shoot it 10 different ways. Then you find a junkyard. then you take 300+ photos. This is what I end up with.

Got three subjects for you, can you guess what they are?

Fun with Shutter Speed & Aperture

My second assignment in one of my photo classes was to practice the different variations of using shutter speed and aperture. Shallow depth of field, specific depth, stop motion, moving motion, and all that other jazz. Enjoy.
