Visually Overloaded

As the first morning of classes came around, I zombied out of my bed, got my stuff together, and jumped down 8 flights of stairs like a little boy. I cuaght up with my buddies Jon Marco and GG, and grabbed a quick breakfast before we headed off to the place that I haven't visited in a while; a classroom. As my mind spent the day interpreting new colorful visual concepts in my art classes, and trying to understand my Professor's thick Argentine english, my body was just tagging along. Pretty exhausting to think this much.

Good thing it's Friday today...

Old Skate Sessions with Connor Hudson

Found an old photo of my buddy Connor Hudson at the SMS Skatepark. Wishing the skatepark was around the conner like it used to be. Fun colors, fun times. These colors remind me of gushers when I look back at them. SO, enjoy a blast full of gusher-photo deliciousness.

Skidmore College. Welcome to Room #824

Skidmore College what up!!!!!! First day of crazyness got underway as my mom and I pulled up to jonsson tower, piled my life in a cart, and head up to room #824. Throwing all my stuff on the top bunk, I met both of my roomates, Alex, from Philly, and Tommy, from Boston. We got the whole east coast covered in one room. After being handed books, signing papers, and finding my parking spot for the jeep, I said goodbye to the ma, and headed to do a bunch of activites. One Gigantic freshman class of over 700 kids, a dozen class photos in the rain, name games, and dinner, and the day was done.

Started to unpack and turn my little corner of the room into my own. Got the window desk, and got top bunk; can't complain!

where I'm going to be spending most of my hours with homework....

gotta get some color in the room

Brought my own futon...yeuppp

Going back in Time, The Aldephi Hotel

After a quick skate session at chelsea piers, and a game of soccer with the brothers, My mom and I packed the car with my life, zipped up to our place in Woodstock, grabbed a futon and mini fridge, and continued out way up to Saratoga springs.

We arrived to our hotel at around 7, where we would spend a night before the crazyness of College started tomorrow. The Hotel was a flash back in time; Huge ceilings, old elevators, story-telling wallpapers, extravagant window dressings, all of this and more that made me feel I needed a large mustache and a top hat.

We walked around town, found a sweet little mexican restraunt, and tried to figure out whether we were on another planet. Welcome to the Aldephi Hotel!

Heading to Skidmore tommorow to unload, organize, and figure everything out. Wish me luck!

Last days in Martha's Vinyard

Lazy beach days are over. I'm back in the city, biking, skating, getting ready for my first year at college, and wishing there was California surf right around the corner. For now, I pulled out the last couple photos I snagged while I was in Martha's Vinyard. Goodbye ocean, hello school books.

Enjoy!
