When we aren't on the mountain, the SASS crew and campers kick back and relax at kilometer 22, Valle de Sol; aka THE compound. Everything from a homemade movie theater, to pool tables and ping pong games is here at the hotel. This is homebase for everybody, and for alot of us, our new home for a couple months. After the mountain, it gives us a chance to hang out with one another, jump under our covers for a siesta, or geek out on our computers and stay in touch with reality back home.
